HP All-in-One Slate21
HP unveils a new personal computer with a 21.5 inch touchscreen display that comes with Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) operating system and is used as a functional and powerful computer (thanks to the NVIDIA Tegra 4 quad-core processor). The product equipment allows you to remotely connect to Windows, Macintosh and UNIX workstations thanks to the Splashtop 2 HD software and thus, All-in-One Slate21 can be used both as a tablet and as a traditional desktop PC.
A computer with a 21.5 inch display provides unprecedented feelings through dozens of Android applications that greatly ease our daily lives. The All-in-One Slate21 users are able to enjoy the opportunities offered by the computer with excellent sound and picture quality. Display resolution is 1920×1080 pixels, but IPS technology allows you to see a high-quality image from every angle, while the DTS Sound audio system delivers great sound.
All-in-One Slate21 can also be used as a normal desktop PC with multi-user support (it is possible to create up to 5 profiles, which provides access to applications and documents to a specific person).
Although the computer has a cloud storage option (data is not stored on the device), it is equipped with 8GB of storage capacity. But considering the fact that a variety of Android applications can take quite a lot of space, HP Slate21 is also equipped with 3 USB 2.0 ports and the possibility of inserting an SD card to increase the storage capacity. Slate21 combines very well with a keyboard and mouse, so it would be convenient for working, and the user can enjoy the maximum benefits of a large display. As well, it has WiFi and Bluetooth support.
In Europe, including Latvia, HP All-in-One Slate21 could be available in late October.
