Quality Policy:

The goal of BIT's quality policy is to create sufficient and stable conditions for the implementation of the company's vision, taking into account the interests of the company's stakeholders.

BIT has identified the complete understanding and fulfillment of customer desires as the most important aspect of its operations, offering products from globally recognized computer hardware manufacturers and application developers, as well as providing delivery, installation, and maintenance services. There are no deviations allowed from the requirements or contract terms formulated in mutual cooperation with the customer, ensuring the company's high competitiveness in the Latvian market and maximum customer satisfaction.

The company adheres to and is guided by the requirements of the regulatory acts of the Republic of Latvia governing its areas of operation.

If the client does not specify special requirements for the delivered product or provided service, BIT follows and implements both the company's internal customer service requirements and the requirements defined for the product or service in the aforementioned regulatory acts.

We have ensured that our quality management system, quality policy, and our commitment to quality are understood, implemented, and fulfilled throughout the company. We recognize the importance of employee understanding in maintaining an effective quality management system within the company. We acknowledge the value of highly motivated employees in promoting the company's development and creating quality products and services. It is understood within the company that customer satisfaction directly affects each employee's well-being and the company's growth. We also ensure that our subcontractors share this understanding. Our specialists are experts in their fields, with appropriate experience and education, and employee competence is continually enhanced through necessary training.

The company is open to strategic partners. We aim to establish long-term and stable partnerships with our subcontractors based on mutually beneficial terms and jointly defined cooperation models. BIT collaborates with companies that work with technological platforms we do not currently operate on, but whose integration into our solutions would enable us to create a high-quality product that meets customer requirements.

We promote public understanding of the possibilities and benefits of modern communication tools by educating our clients. As a result, the computer transforms from a complex object of study into a simple, easy-to-use, and convenient tool in the work process.

With the developed company quality management system, the company has ensured the possibility to continuously improve, enhance, and develop it, thereby improving the performance and efficiency of the company's management and production processes. The aim is to increase customer satisfaction, prevent potential and existing errors, and identify and manage existing risks. The company's quality objectives are identified at the quality management review meeting and recorded in the meeting minutes. The objectives are characterized by specific, measurable parameters. We review the set quality objectives at the end of the specified periods and set new objectives based on the observed results. The company's quality objectives are adjusted as needed due to changing criteria, by decision during internal audits or organized meetings.

 

Information Security Policy:

The main objective of BIT's information security management system policy is to ensure the security and integrity of the information managed and accessible by the company, as well as to maintain the privacy of client data and protect information at an appropriate level.

Documents and information security principles are developed considering the specified applicable information security requirements, risk mitigation plans, and responsibility allocation.

Information Security System Policy of BIT:

  • Ensure compliance with the ISO 27001 standard for information security, in alignment with the organization's strategy;
  • Comply with and operate according to the legal requirements for information security;
  • Ensure the security and integrity of information;
  • Ensure communication about and understanding of the Information Security Management System (ISMS) among company employees;
  • Provide access to the BIT ISMS policy and principles to interested parties.
  • Minimize the collection and processing of customer information.
  • Ensure that BIT’s suppliers and subcontractors are informed about and adhere to the ISMS policy and principles.
  • Ensure the effectiveness and improvement of information security measures by monitoring, conducting internal audits, management reviews, and implementing the ISMS policy.
  • Ensure the functioning of the ISMS by identifying risks, addressing issues, taking preventive measures, and evaluating achievements annually.
  • Ensure the achievement of the set annual objectives by carrying out the necessary improvement actions.
  • Improve the overall security, compliance, and sustainability of the company's and its clients' data and the services provided.

 

The company ensures that its information security management system meets the following criteria:

  • aligns with the established information security policy;
  • its objectives and policy are aligned with BIT's strategy and scope of activities;
  • measurable and/or foreseeable;
  • complies with the requirements of ISO 27001:2022.

 

Environmental Management Policy:

The goals of BIT environmental management policy are:

  • Operate in accordance with the laws and regulations issued by the Republic of Latvia that govern environmental protection;
  • Adhere to the principles of sustainable development and the specified energy efficiency and environmental aspects;
  • Manage it in accordance with the requirements of the ISO 14001 standard;
  • Inform employees and interested parties about it.

The company is committed to environmental protection within the scope of its operations and impact, promoting proper management of consumed resources. The company has identified environmental aspects relevant to its activities that can impact the environment. These factors are determined to implement measures to prevent or mitigate potential adverse effects. Since the company does not engage in industrial production or other activities with significant environmental impact, we primarily focus on reducing the impact of household and office waste, energy efficiency, and vehicle transportation on the environment, without increasing costs or reducing work productivity.

A crucial element of the company's Environmental Management System (EMS) is regular monitoring and corrective actions, which help reduce the impact on environmental aspects. Based on internal observations and process effectiveness assessments, actions that could undermine the effectiveness of the EMS and lead to issues related to non-compliance with the established environmental policy should be avoided.

Motivated employees are a significant asset to the organization, as a motivated employee is inclined towards providing quality service, engaging in the organization, and taking responsibility for work quality. An important aspect promoted by implementing the EMS is resource conservation and proper recycling, which is a way to reduce negative environmental impacts. Employees of BIT understand the benefits of the implemented environmental management practices and the potential consequences of non-compliance or poor execution of this policy."
