Once again we have successfully passed ISO audit
We are glad to announce that this year company SIA “Baltic Information Technology” celebrates the 15th anniversary since Quality Management System (QMS) has been introduced basing the ISO 9001 standard.
To assess the quality management system, every year BIT held a system monitoring audit, but every 3 years – certification audit. This September we held a certification audit by international company DNV GL, which tested all company`s certified areas.
Based on evidence during this audit, it was found that the company QMS is maintained in compliance with all standards and good practice. Auditor acknowledged current investment in company`s quality management system development, praising the company’s CEO initiative and leadership in quality management system requirements, definition and development process management. After discussion with BIT employees, the auditor shared with us his observations and acknowledged that employees do their job with enthusiasm, confirming good quality management system requirements and seeing further development opportunities of quality systems.
Based on the results of the audit, quality management system has been assessed and found to comply with the ISO 9001 standard. The company has demonstrated its ability to systematically achieve certification in areas such as computers and software, installation, maintenance and servicing of servers, data storage systems and sales. Issued certificate is valid from 15. September 2016 until 15 September 2018.
