Technology Thursday 2015
Yesterday, on 3 September, “Baltic Information Technology” Ltd. held an event “Technology Thursday”. The event was held in collaboration with companies “Hewlett-Packard”, “DataCore” and “CITRIX”. The participants were able to learn about the technology news and get the latest, current information on technological solutions to the company’s IT infrastructure.
At the beginning of the event was speech by Harijs Gals, the leader of company ”Baltic Information Technology”. The participants were informed about the company`s development news. After speech participants were able to attend several presentations, which were led by company`s employees and cooperation partners.
At the presentation “Connect Your World with intelligent mobility”, which was led by “Hewlett Packard” representative Tomas Muliulios, the participants were informed about the fact that “Hewlett Packard” bought the company “Aruba Networks” and were informed how “Aruba Networks” products and services will be integrated into the “Hewlett Packard Enterprise” product lines.
“DataCore” representative Ilpo Wilkman presented “SANsymphony-V10” software, which is a comprehensive and scalable storage services platform designed to maximize the performance, availability and utilization of IT assets, no matter how diverse they may be, or what topology have been chosen.
“Baltic Information Technology” employees Pauls Lasmanis and Kaspars Ločmelis were the speakers of mobile devices and mobile application management solutions presentation. Pauls Lasmanis also led a presentation about “NetScaler application firewall”. The event participants were informed about fact, that “CITRIX NetScaler” now includes application firewall. During the presentation, participants were able to watch a demonstration of “CITRIX NetScaler application firewall” solutions. During the presentation Pauls Lasmanis showed how application firewall helps to protect internal WEB services from certain WEB vulnerabilities. Between presentations, participants were able to get acquainted with “Hewlett-Packard” product updates and watch three dimensional printer and “DataCore” demo presentations.
